The Suncoast League of Cities Installs New Leadership

Suncoast League of Cities Swears In 2017-2018 Officers

Tampa, FL. (June 6, 2017) – The Suncoast League of Cities has installed its newest group of officers for the 2017-2018 term. The swearing-in ceremony for the new officers was conducted by Susan Haynie, President of the Florida League of Cities, during the Suncoast League of Cities’ Annual Awards Dinner on May 20.

Heather Gracy, Commissioner of the City of Dunedin, accepted the position as President of the Suncoast League. Leslie Notaro (Mayor, City of Belleair Beach) was installed as 1st Vice President; Yolanda Roman (Commissioner, City of Gulfport) was installed as 2nd Vice President; and John Carroll (Commissioner, City of Largo) was installed as 3rd Vice President.

Commissioner Heather Gracy said, “I am honored to hold the position of President for the regionally based Suncoast League of Cities and look forward to leading this great organization and continuing its efforts to fight for legislation that serves the people and maintains Home Rule for our cities.”

The Suncoast League of Cities looks forward to a successful and productive year with its newest officers.
