Sunshine State Survey

A partnership between USF and Nielsen, the Sunshine State Survey is a critical and influential source of citizen opinions on key issues facing Florida.

The economy, education, crime, immigration, and the environment identified as top five issues facing Florida Results of the 2015 USF-Nielsen Sunshine State Survey underscore the fact that fashioning solutions to the state’s big problems is a challenge because of strong differences of opinion among the state’s diverse citizenry.

This year’s data releases focused on four topic clusters:

  • Data Release 2 (Economy, Economic Development, Transportation, State and Local Finance) Oct. 12, 2015
  • Data Release 3 (Crime, Law, Enforcement, Courts, Corrections) Oct. 19, 2015
  • Data Release 4 (Education, Environment, Health) Oct. 26, 2015
